Businessman donates face shields to Covid-19 workers

Darren Devine stepped up to the plate in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 by donating 3,000 face shields for hospital workers, paramedics and firefighters.

President of Devine and Associates Financial Services, Darrin Devine  spent $21,000 on the shields made in Kitchener by INKSmith.

Firefighters in Rockwood and Elora, and Groves Memorial Hospital in Fergus also benefited from shield donations.

Guelph General Hospital CEO Marianne Walker calls the donation from Devine and from many other individuals in Guelph remarkable.
