On Friday May 21st, 2010 at about 12:01am County of Wellington OPP officers on patrol spotted a weaving pickup on Highway 6 just south of Kenilworth, in Wellington North Twp.

At this time police stopped the 2004 Dodge Dakota to speak with the driver and discovered that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

Darryl Hummel aged 31 of Owen Sound has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. Hummel is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on July 6th, 2010 to answer to the charge.
